About us · Independent since 2006

Wellbeing Magazine

Health deserves depth, not noise.
Curiosity, not quick fixes.

A space for thoughtful stories, fresh perspectives and a more considered relationship with the way we live.

Our philosophy

Room for a deeper conversation.

Wellbeing is personal. It is shaped by our bodies, our experiences, our surroundings and the people we share our lives with. We believe it deserves to be explored with curiosity, nuance and honesty.

Since 2006, Wellbeing Magazine has brought together perspectives on health, wellbeing, lifestyle and travel. Our pages make room for conversations about prevention, nutrition, integrative health and the connections between our physical, emotional and environmental wellbeing.

We are interested in asking better questions, looking beyond the latest trend and giving ideas the space they need. Not a single prescription for living well, but an invitation to explore what that might mean for you.

Our story

From local roots to a global voice.

The story began with a change of direction. In 2005, Rachel Branson stepped away from B2B publishing to study naturopathic medicine. That experience brought together two interests: understanding health more deeply and sharing ideas through publishing.

In 2006, she launched Wellbeing Magazine as an independent local publication in Tunbridge Wells. It grew into a network of regional UK editions and, over time, a digital publication reaching readers around the world.

Today, Wellbeing Magazine is published by Haywood Media Ltd, based in Wadhurst, England. The scale has changed, but the intention remains: to create space for meaningful conversations about living well.

Meet our team & contributors

In print & online

Something worth slowing down for.

In 2025, we returned to high-quality print with a renewed sense of purpose. A magazine can offer something different from a scrolling feed: time to pause, to sit with a story and to return to an idea.

Our print ethos is slow, tactile and considered. Environmental care matters, as does making room for thoughtful reading rather than clutter and clickbait. Online, we continue that conversation with a growing archive of stories and a broad community of voices.

More than a magazine

A way of connecting.

Wellbeing is not only about what we do for ourselves. It is also about our relationship with nature, our communities and the world around us. Through our stories, contributors and The Wellbeing Spiral, we explore those connections — and the possibilities they open up.
