I’m Steven, based in New Zealand and working with MedBridgeNZ, a medical concierge service that helps international patients navigate access to healthcare in China. My work focuses on the practical side of seeking care overseas: preparing and translating medical records, communicating with hospitals and specialists, coordinating appointments, and helping patients plan the logistics of their journey. I am particularly interested in making unfamiliar healthcare systems easier to understand for people who may already be dealing with considerable uncertainty. Through my writing, I explore topics such as medical travel, international patient access, preventive health screening in China, remote specialist reviews, and the practical questions patients should consider before travelling for care. My aim is to provide clear, balanced information that helps readers ask better questions and make more informed decisions. MedBridgeNZ is a New Zealand-based medical concierge and coordination provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions remain between patients and appropriately qualified healthcare professionals. I believe good coordination starts with honest communication, realistic expectations, and respect for each person’s circumstances. I look forward to sharing useful insights with the Wellbeing community and learning from others working across health, wellbeing, and international care.
