Can celery juice reduce a menopausal belly?

While there is no specific scientific evidence to support the claim that drinking celery juice can specifically reduce menopausal belly fat, incorporating celery juice as part of a balanced and healthy diet may contribute to overall weight management. It’s important to understand that menopausal belly fat is typically influenced by various factors, including hormonal changes, age, genetics, and lifestyle.

Celery juice, like any low-calorie and hydrating beverage, may help with weight management by providing hydration and potential satiety without adding excessive calories. It can be a part of an overall healthy eating plan that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods, regular physical activity, and a focus on portion control.

To target belly fat during menopause, it’s generally recommended to adopt a comprehensive approach that includes:

Balanced diet:

Focus on a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limiting added sugars, refined carbohydrates, and processed foods can also be beneficial.

Regular physical activity:

Engage in regular aerobic exercise, strength training, and core exercises to help maintain a healthy weight and strengthen abdominal muscles.

Stress management: Stress can contribute to weight gain and increased belly fat. Incorporate stress-reducing activities such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises.

Adequate sleep:

Aim for quality sleep as inadequate sleep can disrupt hormonal balance and contribute to weight gain.

Hormonal balance:

Consult with a healthcare professional to discuss any hormonal imbalances and explore potential treatments or therapies that may help manage menopausal symptoms.

Remember, there is no quick fix or magic solution for reducing belly fat. It requires a comprehensive approach that combines healthy eating, regular exercise, and lifestyle modifications. Always consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized advice and guidance based on your specific needs and health conditions.

How much celery juice should I drink?

The recommended amount is 16oz, which is basically a buch of celery. You can juice the leaves as well as the stalk, although some may find the taste a bit strong with the leaves added.

Tried & Tested to reduce menopausal belly fat

As part of a new regime to reduce my menopausal belly, I have included a daily juice into my morning routine. After the first week I measured a 5cm reduction in my waist and 2cm across the stomach area. As well as taking a daily juice, I removed tea and coffee, replacing it with hotwater with lemon and ginger. I added in 5k-15k steps a day and daily online pilates sessions with Sandrine. While is it early days I am certainly seeing the benefits of my new regime. I will update again at the end of my 21 day bikini challenge.
