The newly launched role of Interior Trends Consultant is a one-of-a-kind position designed for someone with a keen eye for design, a love of travel, and a passion for storytelling. The successful candidate will journey across the globe, from the serene design havens of Scandinavia to the vibrant souks of Morocco and the minimalist elegance of Japan — all to uncover emerging home decor trends and bring global inspiration to UK homes.

As the Interior Trends Consultant, you’ll visit approximately 24 countries per year, staying in luxury accommodation and experiencing culture firsthand. Whether it’s discovering handcrafted ceramics in Thailand or exploring the earthy textures of Tulum’s boutique interiors, every destination is an opportunity to gather design inspiration and share it with a growing community of interior lovers.

What the Role Involves

As part of this exciting opportunity, the chosen candidate will:

• Travel to global design hotspots and uncover authentic interior trends
• Share content across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and more
• Submit monthly trend reports to the Shop Home Styles team
• Influence product selection for a design-forward customer base
• Engage with a growing online community of interior enthusiasts

No Degree? No Problem.

While formal qualifications in design aren’t required, a passion for interiors and strong visual storytelling skills are essential. Whether you’re a stylist, content creator, travel blogger, or simply someone with a sharp sense of style, Shop Home Styles wants to hear from you.

You must be over 18, hold a valid passport, and be comfortable with last-minute travel. The role is pro-rata based on a £100,000 annual salary and includes all travel and 5-star accommodation costs. Flexibility is also key — trips will typically last 1–2 weeks, with the possibility of extensions based on major seasonal design events or trend discoveries.
