Most of the world’s travellers count location among the most desirable qualities of their accommodations. At hostels in Bangkok, Thailand, your location can make your stay in this vibrant country easy and convenient to get around.
Many hostels look for the most inexpensive property to build their hostels. They never give much thought to the location in terms of providing easy access to public transportation for their guests. As long as travellers can be offered the lowest rates, that’s all they care about.
But seasoned travellers also factor in the cost of their public transportation as well. Having to pay more to get to a hostel just to save on room rates when you arrive doesn’t make much sense to them.
Lub d hostels have carefully chosen their location to make it as convenient as possible for travellers to get out and explore all the colourful neighbourhoods, temples, and attractions of Bangkok.
Siam Square – The Heart of Bangkok
Lub d Hostel in Bangkok is right in the heart of the city. Siam Square is located beside the main transfer point between the BTS Skytrain’s two lines, the Silom Line and the Sukhumvit Line.
Both of these lines connect with the city's MTR rapid rail transit system and the Airport Connection transit system. These three public transportation systems provide access to most of the popular attractions offered in Bangkok.
In fact, the BTS Skytrain has a convenient station right on the Choa Phrya River adjacent to one of the water taxi piers. You can take the BTS Skytrain to the river and explore this bustling waterway by water taxi.
