ProspHER Norwich Fest opens its doors on 14th September at 10am with headliner Laura Middleton-Hughes of the Secondary Sisters. With live music, dance sessions, a VIP afterparty at 6pm and an Empowerment Walk, it promises to be an action packed and inspiring day.
Featuring 50+ exhibitors and 25+ speakers, panel discussions and workshops designed to support, excite and inspire women to progress their businesses and careers. Supported by by high tier sponsors Wensum Print; Phoenix Events (East); Smithfield Foods, IndigoSoul PR and Naked Marketing; ProspHER Fest is aimed at women wanting to progress professionally and build their communities, and the brainchild of women’s advocate, expert business strategist and CEO Serena Fordham.
Says Serena, “ProspHER Fest events aim to support women in developing personally and professionally; while celebrating women in business, speaking to those who are wanting to level up in their current roles, and offering inspiration for those who are on the journey to find the career of their dreams.”
Norwich Fest is the first of many of these type events happening all over the UK and into Europe.
For Katie Oman, Norwich Fest’s event manager and women’s empowerment coach it has been a labour of love. “Hosting the ProspHER Fest in Norwich feels like such an exciting experience! Everything I do in my business is about empowering women to live their fullest lives for themselves. Says Katie, “This festival is going to incorporate this intention and more. I know it’s going to be an amazing day full of connection and big aha moments!”.
Attracting local organisations, causes, and individuals within each festival location, the focus message is inspiring women to ‘evolve their story’ – no matter their circumstances, background, race, gender, sexuality and religion – therefore honouring uniqueness, and embracing diversity and equality.
ProspHER and their partners plan to deliver a series of vibrant festivals across the UK to unite, educate and empower women to progress their businesses, careers and lives, in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Each event will include keynote speakers, fireside chats, panel discussions, workshops, networking, mentoring, help and advice – plus fun festival activities and a variety of entertainment for everyone to enjoy (as all genders and children are welcomed!)

About Serena Fordham
With a string of awards, best selling books and successful businesses to her name, successful female entrepreneur Serena took up the reins of a local network of business women in 2015, growing this community and forging strong relationships along the way. With her passion for education, training, supporting and empowering women, along with the support of the rest of the ProspHER team, the business network has evolved into the unique, inclusive and powerful proposition you see today.
Having worked in a heavily masculine work environment herself, Serena experienced redundancy, miscarriage and mental health challenges which were unable to offer the support she craved. Following her redundancy, she then went on to found a successful virtual assistant business which saw her building a community of women through the sharing of stories and lifting each other up. This then led to the launch of ProspHER Festival and Events.
She is now committed to educating, empowering and uniting women all over the world to progress their businesses, careers and lives in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Serena is married with two children and lives in Norfolk.
