Wearing supportive shoes indoors

Working from home can be tricky because it requires a lot of self-discipline. It’s easy to fall into the habit of staying in your PJs all day!

Getting showered and dressed, albeit with home comfort in mind, may help create a positive mindset and make you more productive. Even if you decide to stay in your loungewear, wearing footwear like Vionic’s additive support will keep you comfy all day.

Studies show that wearing supportive shoes, slippers or sandals indoors will help reduce foot pain symptoms and provide you with superior comfort day in, day out.

From slippers to flats, Vionic shoes promote wellbeing from the ground up, with each pair containing podiatrist-designed comfort technology to hug foot arches, providing addictive support.

We tried the Remi casual trainer from Vionic

Having a very high instep, I find it difficult to find shoes that can give me the support, feeling comfortable and look good at the same time. I must admit they felt a bit strange when I first put them on, however following the advice of wearing for a couple of hours a day for the next week, the feeling soon became quite normal.

Being on lock down, all of my wearing has been in the house but a couple of days ago I felt ready to test them on a short walk. Having a shoe that acts as a natural shock absorber for my feet is really important, because of the high instep, and these definitely provided proper arch support and fit on my walk.

I like this particular design as it has a side zip which makes putting them on really easy and helps the foot feel snug and supported. The durable rubber sole creates constant comfort and fits really well into my arch without causing any discomfort.

Knowing that the technology works really well I was pleased to see that they have a wide selection of trainers for both casual wear and active sports as well as shoes, sandals and boots for both men and women. There is no excuse now for stylish, comfortable footwear.
