As one of the capital’s leading prime developments, Southbank Place continues to provide an unparalleled living experience for its residents. Ideally located in London’s popular South Bank, overlooking the River Thames, the development, delivered by Braeburn Estates – a joint venture partnership between Qatari Diar and Canary Wharf Group (CWG) – offers residents direct access to a world class Health Club & Spa, designed by leading luxury design house Goddard Littlefair.

Features include a 25m heated swimming and vitality pool, changing rooms, state of the art gymnasium with a private training room fitted with Technogym equipment; private spa and treatment rooms, sauna and steam facilities. Specialising in the luxury residential health club and spa sector, Educated Body’s team of experts offer a truly tranquil experience providing everything one would expect to find in a five-star hotel or luxury health club.

With class attendance at the Club’s Yoga classes – including Flow, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga – all averaging at a 98% attendance since the start of the year, mental wellbeing is paramount for its residents, which is consequently catered for by the developer and its best-in-class partners.

Discussing the supreme health and wellbeing facilities at Southbank Place, Richard Oakes, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Qatari Diar commented: “Our world-class Health Club and Spa is just another element of this prime development that’s proving popular amongst residents and prospective buyers. From the breath-taking views from our apartments and state-of-the-art facilities to the prominent central piazza, the development represents the very best of Prime Central London living at one of the Capital’s most desired addresses.”

Brian De’ath, Managing Director of Residential Sales at CWG, adds: “Even before the global pandemic, wellbeing was a crucial consideration for us and so we’re pleased that the uptake of our wellness facilities have been extremely popular for residents. The experiences of Covid-19 have made mental and physical wellbeing one of the most important elements prospective buyers look for when purchasing, so it was vital for us to provide exceptional offerings on site. The work that Educated Body provides is second to none and this combined with the spectacular interiors creates a truly extraordinary 360 degree living experience here at Southbank Place.”

At Educated Body, we feel privileged to be able to connect our passion with our purpose,” says Educated Body’s Founder and CEO Philippa Hardman.  “There is no doubt our desire to create unprecedented wellbeing services inspires our residents to healthier, more mindful, more balanced lives, and this is something that’s consistently true at Southbank Place which we’re delighted to work with.

Goddard Littlefair is also responsible for creating the design-led interior schemes for the state-of-the-art spa facilities at Belvedere Gardens. The spirit of the South Bank was an irresistible inspiration for the scheme, which once occupied some of the land that was used for The Festival of Britain, held in 1951, with the studio drawing on the energy, optimism and creativity that the festival embodied throughout the building’s interior and architecture styling.

Also designed by Goddard Littlefair is a spectacular four-bedroom penthouse at Belvedere Gardens, one of Southbank Place’s most exclusive addresses. On the market for £17 million, the penthouse cccupies the entire 10th floor and provides 360º views across the London skyline. Spanning 3,778 sq. ft., the penthouse comprises two master bedroom suites with walk-in-dressing rooms, two guest bedrooms, two kitchens, an open-plan living/dining area, two guest bathrooms, expansive terrace and a private balcony.

Six units remain at One Casson Square, ranging from a studio apartment, priced at £955,000, to two penthouses on the market for £12.95 million each. The last available apartment in Thirty Casson Square is a stunning penthouse, which will be launched later this year.
