Feast your tastebuds on vegan fried chick*n

Whether you’re vegan or looking for tasty ways to enjoy less meat, Vegan Fried Chick*n (VFC) is an insanely delicious NEW alternative to southern fried chicken – guaranteed to become your Friday night fave!

Veganuary founder and entrepreneur, Matthew Glover, has joined forces with acclaimed York chef, Adam Lyons, to craft a bold, rebellious vegan version of an all-time favourite, delivering all the taste of chicken, without costing a wing and a leg.

Inspired by a sell-out dish on the menu at Adam’s York restaurant, Source, VFC is made from wheat protein, in an authentic southern fried and crispy corn flake coating.  Succulent, and tender, it looks, tastes and pulls apart like chicken, offering the same universally loved experience as traditional fried chicken, but as a vegan, high-protein alternative.

The VFC range has been created as part of the duo’s activist mission to stop the intensive factory farming of chickens without preaching or finger wagging. Instead, Matthew and Adam want to use the power of positivity, wit and tasty feel-good food as their ‘sit down protest’.

Matthew said: “Among the vegan options on offer at Source this was the best vegan fried chick*n I had ever tasted.

“I knew if people just tried it, they would realise that they can still enjoy the taste and texture of meat, whilst doing their bit to help stop factory farming”.

VFC demonstrates that there are tasty vegan alternatives available delivering the same flavour, enjoyment and eating experience.
