Prof. Dr. Stoyana Natseva

Prof. Dr. Stoyana Natseva is a Full Professor of Psychology and Education, researcher, author, and founder of Happy Life Academy®. Her work focuses on identity, educational psychology, behavioural change, autobiographical memory, human potential, and the psychological mechanisms underlying sustainable human transformation.
She is the creator of the Internal Autobiographical Map (IAM), a research-based conceptual model exploring the relationships between significant life experiences, emotional encoding, personal meaning, beliefs, and identity formation. She is also the creator of Direct Change Solution® (DCS®), a structured methodology focused on identity, beliefs, behavioural patterns, and sustainable change.
Her current research and educational work increasingly centres on The Science of Human Transformation — an interdisciplinary direction examining why knowledge and intention alone are often insufficient to change behaviour and how identity structures influence human decision-making, adaptation, and development.
Prof. Dr. Natseva is the author of more than 20 books and numerous academic and professional publications. Through Happy Life Academy®, her educational work has reached more than 100,000 participants, with over 3,000 professionals certified across programmes and participants represented in more than 50 countries.
Her professional background also includes 27 years in banking and management, giving her a multidisciplinary perspective connecting psychology, leadership, education, and organisational development. Her work bridges psychological research with practical frameworks for human agency and sustainable transformation.
