How can you make your experience of wealth a more expansive and abundant one?

If you look up the word wealth, it is basically described as an abundance of valuable possessions or money, or plenty of something that is desirable. As someone who supports others with creating a wealthy life, this doesn’t fully resonate with me. I get that wealth is those things, but that feels very old-paradigm, and scarcity driven. To me, wealth is so much more!

I feel that wealth is a state of being. It comes from the inside and is a way of feeling, living, and creating your life. It can be applied to any area of your life, such as your finances, relationships, home, health, etc., but at the end of the day is something quite unique to each of us and fundamentally comes down to our individual values.

If wealth is a lived experience and something we can cultivate from within, the potential is unlimited. It can be anything and everything, and we are much closer to experiencing a wealthy life than many of us might think.

To begin to activate a more expansive and abundant experience of wealth in your life, I invite you to feel into what wealth means to you. A way to do this is to begin to vision into and choose what you would like to experience in your life. Allow yourself to dream into what you would like to feel, and then begin to take action steps towards creating this.

Here are a few prompts to start to feel into this and activate and create an abundant and expansive feeling of wealth in your life.

  • What does wealth mean to you right now?
  • What values/feelings are important to you right now to experience in your life? E.g, abundant, adventurous, bold, free, courageous, limitless, delicious, empowered, energised, inspired, loving, magical, peaceful, soulful, sparkling, passionate, powerful, secure, rich, warm, joyful etc).
  • If wealth is an experience and feeling that you get to choose, in what areas of your life do you feel wealthy? In which areas do you not feel wealthy? E.g. home, relationships, health, finances, career, family, free time, personal growth, spirituality, etc. (feel free to add any that you like). Take a moment to write down how you feel right now in these different areas.
  • How would you like to feel in the different areas in your life?
  • What one action step could you take to begin to feel the way you desire in a certain area in your life? For example, if you would like to feel more nurtured and held in your relationships, you could do something that nurtures your relationship with yourself, like cooking a delicious meal, spending time in nature, taking a soothing bath, or simply being with yourself and tuning into your body and asking it what it needs.
