Increasing success in your life with the 4P’s: Positivity, Peace, Prosperity and Productivity.

I am writing about a method that I heard about at a Workplace Wellbeing event hosted by Your People are Your PowerThey spoke about something called the 4P’s that resonated with me. Gina Buckney, Corporate Wellbeing Director and Motivational Speaker, said, “For us to be truly happy in life, we must focus on the 4P’s. These are being POSITIVE every day, finding PEACE in the small things, increasing our PRODUCTIVITY, as in the words of Tony Robbins, ‘Progress equals Happiness’, and our PROSPERITY, because who doesn’t want to increase that right?”.

Bringing Positivity and Inner Peace to your World

Having a resilient and proactive mindset for change is the best place to start. You’ve got to want to achieve POSITIVITY and inner PEACE in your life for it to become obtainable. Practising Mindfulness and Meditation can help you progress your growth, POSITIVITY and PEACE in your life.

Vago & Silbersweig argue the: ‘close ties between Mindfulness and Positive Psychology make sense when you consider the outcomes of Mindfulness: increased positivity, a greater sense of coherence, better quality of life, more empathy[…] and greater hope’.

Incorporating Mindfulness can ultimately change your outlook on life and help you to achieve your goals. It doesn’t have to take a massive chunk out of your busy schedule; it can take 5-10 minutes. Creating this habit transforms our routine and mindset we deserve to have for our lives to be the best they can be.

We do not live in virtue because we are told to do so, but because we experience that doing so brings about peace’ –Teachings of The Buddha.

How to bring Prosperity and Productivity to your life

Bringing POSITIVITY and PRODUCTIVITY into your lifestyle can also be established through Mindfulness and Meditation. Manifesting life or career goals creates self-affirming ideas, inspiring you to work towards them and be successful.

James Nussbaumer highlights the term ‘Prosperity Meditation’ in which it: ‘assists significantly with the art of destination and yielding your goals for success and life’. Whether the goal is to become more PROSPEROUS in terms of your career or personal life, by maintaining the practice of Mindfulness and Meditation your mindset can shift, helping you obtain your goals.

PRODUCTIVITY can be hard to stick to when there are several distractions, mainly your phone and scrolling through social media. But that can change. Being in the present and focusing on what is in front of you can increase your PRODUCTIVITY levels, concentrating on your most essential task.

Studies have shown:Mindfulness training improves our ability to orient attention and be less distracted […], allowing us to finish a job more quickly and more accurately’.

Your People are Your Power

Coming back to the seminar I attended, the Your People are Your Power – workplace wellbeing programmes are their forte, and it got me thinking about how many organisations actually take workplace wellbeing seriously?

Managing Director, Gina Buckney, founded the company to help organisations who’s employees experience staff burnout, sickness and attrition, after living through it herself.  When burnout occurs, attrition increases and negatively affects remaining colleagues, who keep the ‘show on the road’.

Motivation, morale, and PRODUCTIVITY are also affected. Gina aims to change the cultural environment of the working world by helping educate industry leading organisations how to improve employee wellbeing. Previously working within the high-pressure corporate industry, Gina identified the lack of mental support and wellbeing on offer.
