Why retreat? Release your rebellious side in one weekend!

Tap into your inner pirate and unleash your full potential

The UK is awash with events and getaways that promise to deliver a ‘new you’. However, a combination of bending, bouncing and stretching is simply not enough to change your approach to life. That’s why Zaol is proud to present the ‘Be More Pirate’ Wellness Weekend. The June 2019 Wellness Weekend brings together the best in mental, and physical activities and has been developed to help you to return to everyday life equipped with the attitude and energy that you need to effect change.

The ‘Be More Pirate’ Wellness Weekend will deliver three days of outstanding speakers, workshops, Pilates, yoga, massage and superb food, complete with evening entertainment.

The ‘Be More Pirate’ Wellness Weekend takes place at Augill Castle, Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, June 13-16th 2019 and promises to be an experience in empowerment, nourishing your mind, body and soul. Where other weekends might promote a retreat mentality, the ‘Be More Pirate’ Wellness Weekend offers a supportive atmosphere where you can make time and space to nurture your own personal development. We understand the value and importance of good food so mealtimes are something to look forward to, with exquisite dining that uses the finest seasonal ingredients. Hosts, Esmé and Helen, are on hand to guide you throughout the weekend, as well as leading sessions in BeZaol! and Pilates

What sets the Zaol ‘Be More Pirate’ weekend aside from the rest?

Apart from a kick-ass attitude to life, the team at Zaol has lined up one of the most empowering and dynamic entrepreneurs in the world to open proceedings, Sam Conniff. Author of best-selling title ‘Be More Pirate (Or How To Take On The World And Win)’, Conniff sets out how the great pirates of the Golden Age broke the rules and won. He encourages audiences to re-evaluate restrictive boundaries and, instead, make spaces that allow them to make positive changes on both a micro, daily level and on a mammoth, world-changing scale. Other speakers include poet and storyteller, Rob Gee, and artist, Gavin Mayhew.

Esmé And Helen are both ardent advocates of inspiring individuals to take control of their own physical and mental wellness, backing up this approach by delivering energising and empowering events that help people do exactly that.

Esme said, “We strive to realise the potential that’s within other people. We thrive on watching them tap into and unleashing capabilities and confidence that has been trapped inside of them. In an ideal world, we’d all be able to do this on a daily basis but life gets in the way. That’s why we’ve created Zaol events. A small, but perfectly formed, window of opportunity where people can come together in a collaborative and creative environment, to hear from speakers who can help them identify and make changes that will benefit their lives moving forward. We don’t believe that wellness needs to be equated with deprivation, so we encourage our attendees to eat well, live well and laugh a lot.”
