Could the Backstation solve your back pain problems?

David Hawkes is the inventor of Backstation which he created because of a slipped disc a few years ago after getting no help to alleviate his back pain.

Backstation is simple yet so effective and gives almost instant pain relief to users in a short time.

The frame stands against the wall and takes up no more room than an ordinary dining room chair, to avoid having to take it down and packing it away after use.

“If you have a back problem the last thing you want is to end up on the floor with some unit that you struggle on to or that you are swinging upside down on an inversion table. With Backstation you just walk into put the sling around your back, slip the loops over the handle bar and then you just bend your knees using natural traction to decompress your spine which in turn gives relief and takes away pain . You stay down for just 5 seconds keep your feet exactly where they are and repeat this 5 times only, with this process you are exercising your core muscles of the spine .They will get stronger over the next few days and this will also improve your posture as well” explains David Hawkes, inventor of the Back Station.

Developing *Backstation has taken Davis nearly 6 years to perfect it. First launched at Olympia with outstanding review, selected for the Design UK Spark competition in London and tested at Bedford University.

The Back Pain Organisation state that there are over 24 million people in this country alone with problems and many can easily cured with exercise, reducing the need for
pain killing tablets and other interventions.

“When we get up in the morning our body sets itself for the day, the spine just sits there and absorbs all the problems that we impose on it walking, lifting, twisting, running, bending over computer just to name a few. We take our spine for granted”, says David.

David explains “A person goes to the doctors saying they put their back out what can he do, he examines and then prescribes tablets, bed rest, hot water bottles and take a couple of days off and try hanging from the door frame. I believe my Backstation is the answer and could save the NHS a lot of money as Backstation is preventative medicine at its very best.”
