Bookface Sip & Swaps with Bestselling Author Adele Parks in Glasgow

Multi-million selling author Adele Parks MBE heads to Glasgow for two thrilling literary events to launch her latest novel Our Beautiful Mess

The Bookface Sip & Swap events take place at Glaschu on Sunday 31st August from 9:30am to 12:30pm and at Saints of Ingram from 1.30pm-430pm. Guests will  sip fizz, swap books and enjoy a 45-minute interview with one of the UK’s most-loved authors.

There will also be a chance to meet Adele, ask questions, and buy a signed copy of her new book. In addition, our popular book swap will be in full swing, with over 300 titles to choose from. Guests are encouraged to bring up to four books to swap, but it’s not essential – especially for those who prefer Kindle or audiobooks.

Bookface events are a monthly highlight for readers and aspiring writers, offering the chance to connect with top authors and fellow book lovers in a friendly, relaxed setting. These events always sell out, thanks to the brilliant atmosphere, welcoming community of readers, and excellent line-up of guests.

Adele Parks is the author of 24 bestselling novels, with more than six million copies sold in English and translations in 31 languages. In 2022, she was awarded an MBE for services to literature. Her new book, Our Beautiful Mess, is an emotional, high-stakes family drama packed with twists and long-held secrets. The story centres on Connie, who has built a perfect life—until a past mistake returns and threatens everything. As the danger grows, she’s forced to confront how far she’ll go to protect her family.
