From luxury spa retreats to mountain yoga and high-tech recovery treatments, Méribel is cementing its reputation as one of the Alps’ leading summer wellness destinations for 2026.

Falcon by Alpine Resorts

At the heart of the resort is Falcon by Alpine Resorts, a contemporary five-star retreat surrounded by pine forests just above Méribel Centre. Its Spa Falcon offers a peaceful sanctuary complete with a heated indoor pool, sauna, hammam and relaxation spaces, alongside bespoke treatments using luxury French skincare brand Gemology. Mineral-rich face and body therapies and personalised massages provide the perfect way to unwind after a day spent hiking, cycling or exploring the Three Valleys. Accommodation at Falcon starts with two-bedroom apartments for up to four guests, with larger apartments, penthouses and private chalets sleeping up to 20. Summer rates vary according to apartment size and travel dates.

Refuge de la Traye

For those looking to take wellness a step further, Refuge de la Traye is home to one of the Alps’ most advanced mountain MediSpas. Alongside an outdoor infinity pool and mountain-view sauna, guests can experience cutting-edge recovery treatments including the Japanese Iyashi Dome infrared sauna, LED phototherapy, hydromassage recovery beds and Stendo therapy, all designed to aid recovery and promote deep relaxation after time in the mountains. Summer 2026 rates start from €630 per night, rising to €1,150 during peak August dates.

Pass Explorateur

Visitors can also make the most of Méribel’s new Pass Explorateur, priced at £60 for three days or £86 for six days. The pass includes unlimited access to more than 20 activities, from guided hikes, swimming and scenic pedestrian lifts to golf and outdoor yoga, plus 15% discounts with selected partners on activities including rafting and e-mountain bike hire.

Outdoor yoga & wellness

Wellness extends beyond the spa with a comprehensive programme of outdoor yoga experiences led by qualified instructor Marcela Bemposta, taking place in some of Méribel’s most spectacular natural settings throughout the summer. From energising sunrise sessions beside the crystal-clear waters of Lac de Tuéda to yoga walks through the forests of the Altiport and sunset classes overlooking the surrounding peaks, each session combines movement, breathwork and deep relaxation to help guests reconnect with nature.

 Méribel Hybrid Games

Launching for the first time this summer, the  Méribel Hybrid Games (11–12 July) brings one of the world’s fastest-growing fitness trends to the French Alps. Combining HYROX-style fitness racing, CrossFit-inspired functional workouts and mountain trail running, the two-day competition challenges athletes to test their endurance, strength and resilience against the backdrop of Méribel’s spectacular alpine scenery. Taking place at over 1,800 metres above sea level, the event is one of the first of its kind in France to blend hybrid fitness with altitude, creating a unique challenge for competitors. Participants can compete individually or in teams, tackling a series of functional fitness stations interspersed with trail running sections that showcase the surrounding mountains.

Whether seeking restorative spa treatments, mindful moments in nature or active mountain adventures, Méribel offers a refreshing take on summer wellness in the heart of the French Alps.
