World Wellness Weekend 2025: Free Wellness Activities and Events Across the UK
As inactivity, obesity, insomnia, loneliness, and depression are on the rise, World Wellness Weekend 2025 (WWW) is uniting communities around the globe with one mission: to inspire healthier, happier lives.
Taking place from 19–21 September 2025, this free global wellness initiative is promoting the United Nations 3rd objective “Good Health & Wellbeing For All”, supported with by more than 50 mayors & governors, 60 international federations, and 200+ volunteers worldwide. Its aim? To promote vitality, serenity, solidarity, and sustainability through inclusive activities accessible to all.

What Is World Wellness Weekend?
Now in its 9th year, World Wellness Weekend has become one of the world’s largest pro-bono wellness movements. From yoga to nature walks, sound healing to digital detox workshops, the initiative brings together fitness professionals, spas, hotels, tourism boards, and community leaders to make wellness fun, inclusive, and available to everyone.
Global partners include:
● World Cleanup Day – uniting 211 countries for inner and outer cleanups. ● The 10th European Week of Sports – encouraging intergenerational activity.
● Pace & Bene Campaign Nonviolence – promoting peace, purpose, and solidarity with thousands of activities in the USA and internationally.

World Wellness Weekend 2025 in the UK
Led by Katie Byrne Plowman, UK Country Ambassador, World Wellness Weekend is backed by Professional Beauty UK, the UK Spa Association, and Irish Spa Association. Together, they are encouraging spas, hotels, and fitness centres across the country to open their doors with 200 inclusive activities nationwide.

Expect a diverse programme including yoga, Pilates, sound baths, Ayurveda workshops, youth fitness, family wellness sessions, digital detox activities, and rewilding walks. Events are happening both in-person and online, making them accessible wherever you are.

Prestigious venues such as all Aqua Sana Forest Spa , all Champneys, Daniel Thwaites, Lucknam Park, Galgorm, Gainsborough Hall, and will host exclusive wellness sessions for guests, staff, and local communities.

● South Wales: Free online mat yoga and Pilates classes, plus the national plastic yoga mat repurposing campaign.
