Can you Help Hammersmith & Fulham Food Bank this Sunday 10th November?

This Sunday, don’t miss your chance to make a difference by supporting families facing food insecurity in Hammersmith and Fulham! You can either drop off essential items or make a cash donation to double your impact.

On Sunday, November 10th, The Health Lottery, in partnership with the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, is launching its first-ever Match Funding Drive at Chelsea Football Club. This initiative will collect food donations to benefit Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank, one of the busiest food banks in the UK.

With food poverty rising at an alarming rate, particularly in London where 1 in 5 Londoners face food insecurity, your support is crucial. As part of this initiative, The Health Lottery will match the value of every food item donated with a financial contribution, aiming to raise up to £5,000. This means that every pound you give will effectively quadruple in value to support those in need.

How You Can Help:
Bring essential food items like tinned fish, beans, soups, pasta, sauces, cereals, and UHT milk to donate.
Cash donations are also welcome if you can’t bring items. Every contribution counts, and with The Health Lottery’s match, you can double your impact.

Where and When to Donate:

The collection point will be located outside the Stoll Foundation gates on Fulham Road, accessible to fans heading into the Chelsea vs. Arsenal match. It will open at 1:30 pm and close at 4:00 pm, just half an hour before kick-off.

A Word from The Health Lottery:

“Football unites communities, and this partnership is an opportunity to harness that unity for a vital cause,” said Carly Troullis, Head of Marketing at The Health Lottery. “By coming together, we can help ensure that no family goes hungry this season.”Whether you’re a Chelsea supporter, an Arsenal fan, or simply someone who wants to give back, join us this Sunday to make a lasting impact.
