Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen – the belief that small, intentional steps can create meaningful change over time – GemZen encourages simple daily rituals dedicated to rest, recovery and reconnection. The mat has a variety of nine different gemstones including:

GemZen also comes with an IMA Stone – a polished clear quartz ritual object designed to be placed at the awareness point (by your head) of the mat during use. IMA – which means the present moment in Japanese – can also be carried throughout the day as a reminder to pause and return to yourself.
A systematic review of clinical studies found that a single session of yoga, including components such as meditation and breathing techniques, can help reduce acute stress responses and support emotional wellbeing.
