Reece Donnelly: TV Star, Entrepreneur, and Pantomime Producer

Reece Donnelly, the dynamic Scottish entrepreneur, actor, and presenter, continues to follow the yellow brick road to success with the announcement of The Wizard of Oz family panto in Glasgow.

Since his standout appearance on the 2023 season of The Apprentice, where he became the first Scottish candidate in a decade, Reece has been a fixture on national television and radio.

With guest spots on Good Morning Britain, Talk TV, and as a regular on Capital Scotland and BBC Scotland, Reece’s presence in the media is growing. He’s also appeared alongside Danni Menzies on The Health Lottery’s Paying it Forward podcast. His ability to tackle topical debates with charisma and insight has solidified him as a voice to be reckoned with.

Young Entrepreneur

In 2017, Reece founded the highly successful Theatre School of Scotland which has flourished. The school is now preparing for its 2024 pantomime, The Wizard of Oz, at the SEC, marking its third consecutive year at the prestigious venue in Glasgow. Reece and the whole team are “over the rainbow” with excitement to see their talented students hit the stage again.

“We can’t wait to get all our kids back on stage this year,” says Reece. “It’s going to be a spectacular journey down the yellow brick road, with all the fun, heart, and courage our audiences love. There’s no place like the SEC for a show like ours!”

A Lifelong Passion for the Arts

27-year-old Reece’s passion for the stage started at just six years old, leading him to a diverse career spanning television and theatre. His acting credits include Carrie and David’s Pop Shop (CBBC), Waterloo Road (BBC), and major stage performances at the Citizens Theatre and Pavilion Theatre. Reece has also toured in Happy Days UK and appeared in a T-Mobile commercial. As an esteemed voice-over artist, he’s worked with brands like the NHS and Nickelodeon.

Business Ventures

In addition to his entertainment success, Reece’s entrepreneurial flair shines with his podcast The Scottish CEO Show, streaming weekly on YouTube and Spotify. His candid discussions about leadership and business success are attracting attention, making the podcast a must-listen for aspiring entrepreneurs.

“I’m thrilled to be part of so many incredible projects right now,” Reece said. “I believe hard work and talent pays off and I’m currently in talks with a London agent to further my broadcasting career. But first, it’s pantomime time!”
