New superberry powder made from the haskap berry

Haskapa is a brilliant and new superberry powder made from the haskap berry. Supported by scientific research, the haskap berry is emerging as one of the most exciting new superfoods. With triple the antioxidants of the blueberry, the haskap berry also has one of the highest recorded anthocyanin values of any berry on the planet.

Their deep blue skin and crimson flesh give haskaps 3 times the antioxidants and 4 times the anthocyanins of blueberries and have one of the highest recorded anthocyanin values of any berry. Scientists are recommending we consume 50mg anthocyanins per day, this is equivalent to one teaspoon of Haskapa freeze dried powder.

We tried it with our morning protein smoothie and sprinkled on our greek yoghurt. It tasted really good and we loved the super colourful fruit powder. It certainly kicks a punch with it’s flavour and is a perfect start to the morning. Fruit powders are also a good way to add some flavour and colour on your porridge this winter and we also think it would make a lovely natural food colouring for cakes and puddings.
